Please welcome Elisabeth Brown!

Painfully shy Arella begs her stepmother to let her stay home from the prince’s ball. But kindly Duchess Germaine is determined that her beautiful stepdaughter should be presented at court along with her own two daughters. So, dressed in a gorgeous gown and a pair of heirloom slippers, Arella catches the eye of the crown prince . . . and finds her life suddenly far more complicated than she ever desired.

Betsy BrownElisabeth Brown has always loved words. The third of seven children, she enjoyed being homeschooled through her senior year of high school, and is now studying piano performance at Appalachian Bible College. When she’s ignoring the fact that she should probably be practicing more or doing Greek homework, you’ll find her sewing, baking, reading, singing along to basically any musical ever created, hiking through the woods, or laughing at incredibly silly puns.

What Eyes Can See is her first published story, but she also rambles at

If you could live in a fairy tale, which one would you choose?

Hello, Jennette! (May I say that I love your name? Thank you for indulging me for a moment there.) Rapunzel is the first fairytale I think of, as I have long hair. However, I do shudder at the thought of being locked in a tower for the first 18 or so years of my life…plus, I end up marrying the first man I ever meet in my whole entire life, which just unsettles me a bit. Can I stretch Lord of the Rings into a fairytale? I would live in the Shire in a heartbeat. Technically, I suppose that’s fantasy, though, so I’m going to say Beauty and the Beast. That library, yes?

How long in your Rapunzel hair? I used to have hair to mid-thigh. I tried for knee-length but, alas, mid-thigh was as long as I could get it to grow.

Oh, I’m jealous! I LOVE long hair, but unfortunately, my hair doesn’t do well long. I’ve almost accepted that. ha! Thanks for stopping by!

Last summer, it was down to her waist. I know she got it cut to about mid-back length, but I’m not sure how much has grown back.

Fun Q&A, you two! 🙂 Thanks so much for hosting!

My hair used to be mid-thigh; I was going for knee-length, too, but I got tired of sitting on it all the time, so I snipped it “short” up to lower-middle-back. I think that’s a real zone. It’s down a little past my waist again…I think I’ll let it grow again for a while. 🙂
(Twinsie 2, I love the fact that I can always count on you to be my biggest stalker.)
Jennette, thanks for having me! 🙂

No problem! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

What am I good for, if not stalking you on blog tours? Anyway, I guess I was slightyl wrong about the length of your hair. But you wear it up so much.
