Cover Reveal: Shadow Hand

Posted by on June 8, 2013

I am so excited to be able to share with you all the new cover for Anne Elisabeth Stengl’s sixth novel in the Tales of Goldstone Wood! Isn’t it beautiful?

“She will take your own two hands

To save your ancient, sorrowing lands”

By her father’s wish, Lady Daylily is betrothed to the Prince of Southlands. Not the prince she loves, handsome and dispossessed Lionheart, but his cousin, the awkward and foolish Prince Foxbrush. Unable to bear the future she sees as her wedding day dawns, Daylily flees into the dangerous Wilderlands, her only desire to vanish from living memory.

But Foxbrush, determined to rescue his betrothed, pursues Daylily into a new world of magic and peril, a world where vicious Faerie beasts hold sway, a world invaded by a lethal fey parasite . . .

A world that is hauntingly familiar.

It is a gorgeous cover. They all are! I’d not heard of this series before, so thanks for sharing this cover reveal. I think I’ll have to go pick up the first one. Are they a linked series, do you know? Or can you dip in anywhere?

Looking at the covers, I think the Dragonwitch one is my favourite. It’s just stunning.

Thanks Clare for stopping by! I LOVE this series. And it just keeps getting better and better. Heartless is free right now on, if you have a Kindle or the Kindle app. How does that work internationally, do you know? This is how I read them: Heartless(1), Starflower(4), Veiled Rose (2), & Moonblood (3) Starflower is set about 1600(?) years before Heartless, so definitely start with Heartless. Personally I’m glad I read Starflower before Veiled Rose and Moonblood, because then I was like: Oh My! I know who that is! Veiled Rose is a character from Heartlness telling his side of the story and so much more! And then Moonblood is a continuation of that story. I meant to post this above, but here is the link to Heartless:

Love this cover–and though I don’t often read fantasy, this book sounds amazing! Thank you for introducing me to another author, Jennette!

Thanks Gabrielle! She is on of my favorite authors. Her first book in the series, Heartless, is free right now on Kindle, if you have one or the Kindle App. 🙂

I really like Starflower because of the cool tones used.

Hi Meghan! Thanks for stopping by and checking out Anne Elisabeth Stengl’s new book cover. Starflower’s cover is one of my favorites as well.

  4. Diana Montgomery

I am not sure if this right place to leave a note for the giveaway. I really love to read books just about anything as long as they are in good taste.

Hi Diana! If this is for the Christian Book Lovers Hop, I’m not sure how it ended up on Shadow Hand. But your entry will be counted. Thanks for sharing!

I love hearing from you!
