Good morning fellow adventurers!
The wait is over, Darkened Hope is here!!
It’s been a long journey. Exciting. Hair-pulling. Overwhelming. Amazing. I might be a little off-balance this week. Laughing, crying, hyperventilating, staring off into the distance, and scrambling to catch-up on my to-do list.
There are many awesome things this month. Blog tour, Facebook Party, Costume Party. Eeeek! But for today, we celebrate the release of Darkened Hope.
To my mom, who foresaw the future of computers and made me take keyboarding. It would be challenge to type up a 100,000+ novel with two fingers. Ha!
And to my dad, who loaned me The Sword of Shannara, and I’ve been hooked on epic fantasy ever since.
Writing is a lonely endeavor, but the journey to bringing a story to the world takes a village or three.
A huge thanks to James, my better half, for his constant support and belief in me and my writing.
To my first critique group, Kassy, Mike, Kymberly, Chris, and Kristen, who saw this story rewritten chapter by chapter. Thank you for teaching this newbie so much!
To the SCALAWAGS! For a safe place to share ideas, questions, and encourage each other. Thank you Robert Mullin and K. M. Carroll for taking the time to read and offer your feedback on this story!
To Rosalie Valentine, you are a dazzling ray of light amid the storms of writing. Thank you for your feedback and being a blessing!
To my editor, Nadine Brandes. I could not have brought this story to where it is now without you. I am forever grateful for you, your friendship, and ninja editing skills.
A special thank you to Ralene Burke for helping me keep my sanity and sift through the herculean task of bringing Darkened Hope to print. As my proofreader, I appreciate your keen eye for details. You rock!
To Lori and Jennifer, my personal publicists. To Rachael for beta reading and sharing your thoughts with me.
And to my Nälu Warriors, you all rock. Thank you for your support!
To God, for without you, I would not be here on this journey where I am living life balanced between reality and dreams.
And to my dear readers and fellow adventurers. Thank you. A hundred times thank you! May you enjoy the next installment of Ayianna’s journey.
