Favorite Sci-Fi Couples

Posted by on February 4, 2015

Last week we kicked off our Favorite Spec-fic Couples series with the Almost Couples. Today, we’re delving into science-fiction. So without further ado:

Callie & Pierce

Oh my goodness. I loved Arena. Which is a bit of a mix bag of science-fiction. Callie is thrown into this game-like Arena and she has to figure out how to survive and then escape. But who should she trust? And then there is Pierce, who has been in the Arena for five years. These two could almost be an Almost Couple. Ha!

Crusader & Isolda

Crusader has been “gifted” with being numb, making him the perfect assassin for the Minitrix, but for some reason, he can’t kill his latest target, Isolda Westin. And then he finds himself on the run with Isolda in tow from the very people he worked for. Yeah, plenty of action and intrigue with just the right amount of romance.

Hans Solo & Leia.

Yeah. That goes without saying, right?

Lady Firebird and Brennan

An expendable princess ready to take her own life for her country, the only honorable death for one such as her. And then she meets Brennan who foils her plans and she spends the rest of the story struggling with what is true and right, having to chose between two different worlds, and falling in love.

So who are your favorite couples of science-fiction?

Definitely Han and Leia. Also Luke and Mara Jade!

Um… Derek Sagan and Maigrey Morianna from “Star of the Guardians”

And… that’s all I can think of right now.

Hi Jenelle! Thanks for sharing! I’ve found it hard to think of favorites when it’s been awhile since revisiting the stories. And I do have to say I have probably watched more sci-fi than read it. Ha!

  2. Emerald Barnes

I have Arena, but I haven’t read it yet. It looks like I’ll be reading it soon! 😉 You always share some AMAZING books! Now my TBR pile is so much longer! lol

Awesome Emerald! I am so glad that you have enjoyed some of the books I’ve shared about. I am in the same quandary as you! My to-read list is sooo long, I’ve had to prioritize it and focus on the shorter list for this year. Who knows, I might read through it and be able to add more. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Bethany A. Jennings

Brennan and Firebird are one of my favorite couples for sure!! Also, I love Wash and Zoe from Firefly…fictional romances are common, but it’s rare to see a great fictional marriage, and as a married woman I appreciate those a lot. 🙂

I noticed Firefly just went I got away from watching TV. One of these days I will have to check it out. It looks good! And you are so right, Bethany, we don’t see much for great fictional marriage. My hubby and I were talking about that the other day. Thanks for sharing!

Oh man, I need to read these books. Several of those have been on my TBR for a while now. The only couple I know is Hans Solo and Leia, and they are certainly cute!

I love hearing from you!
