Gales of November

Posted by on November 6, 2015

November’s not quite the same here in Texas as it is up north, and every once in a while this song runs through my head. I’m not sure why, but I’m drawn to some interesting music. Ha! Have you heard of this song?

Hope you have a good weekend!

One of my all-time favorite songs. And singers, actually. 🙂 Love it. And now, here I am living right near Lake Superior (well, near-er anyway).

By the by, I just finished Secrets Kept last night and… um… well… when is the sequel coming out? Because cliff-hanger! And I NEED to know what happens!!!! 🙂

Wow, that is cool! I’m always curious to see who shares some of my eclectic music tastes. 🙂

That is awesome. I do miss the north a lot. Lake Superior in Duluth, amazing. 🙂 The stars, Northern Lights, the trees, And NO scorpions and other poisonous creatures. Of course, I don’t miss the mosquitoes. 😛

Secrets Kept: Yea!!! That makes my heart happy. We are looking at a Spring 2016 release. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by and letting me know! Hope you guys got all moved in and all!

🙂 Well, I love country and all the old “country before country existed” artists (Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, Alabama, Oak Ridge Boys, Jim Croce, Don McLean… love ’em).

I really am hoping to see the Northern Lights at some point. That’s pretty high on my “bucket list.”

We’ve missed this year’s mosquito season, but I’m not looking forward to that… of course, we had pretty bad mosquitoes in NC as well… so… yeah, they’re probably worse here. But no cockroaches… that makes me happy!

Spring, huh? Ooooo-kay… I suppose I can find other things to read until then… 😉

Oh right! How could I forget NO COCKROACHES!

Yeah…I’m aiming for May. Possibly earlier. We shall see how it all plays out. That said, there will be advanced reader copies available around February. At least that is the goal. 😀

I’m a big Gordon Lightfoot fan myself, my favorite being Don Quixote. I also love Edmund Fitzgerald.

But here’s another (much shorter) version that might bring you a smile when you hear it:

Hi DJ. I love the guitar playing. Simple, fun music. I can see Don Quixote with its catchy beat and all being a favorite. Thanks for sharing the link to the shorter version. Ha! Thanks for stopping by!

I love hearing from you!
