I Love Indie books blog hop

Whoohoo, another giveaway! I will be giving away two Kindle novels and my most recent short story, Dragon Thief.

For the first book: In the spirit of all things dragons earlier this month, I decided to giveaway a Kindle copy of Different Dragons. A speculative fiction anthology with something for everyone. I have enjoyed reading it and would love to pass it on.

Ancient reptiles escaped the great flood via a portal and now wish to return.
In the desert a dragon lures children, animals and adults to its lair, and only a brave dog can rescue them.
A dragon arises in China and seeks to keep its hoard, while two con men try to steal it.
Searching for his father, a young man solves an ancient riddle and discovers an awful dragon truth.
Nanites, demons, and other mythical creatures join or battle the dracos, as do the humans who encounter them.
These and other tales await within these pages, because here – be Different Dragons.

Stories from: Peter J. Wacks, Sarah L. Byrne, Sam Knight, Sheryl Normandeau, M.R. Williamson, Matt Chatelain, Pamela M. Nihiser, Kessie Carroll, Rebecca Lickiss, C. John Arthur, Darla Upchurch, Kaitlyn Wooley, Carol Hightshoe, Tanner Lee Howard Colley, Dave Withe, Dana Bell, J.A. Campbell

Second book. No dragons in this one, but it has enough awesome stuff you won’t miss it. Bid the Gods Arise by Robert Mullin. A sci-fi & fantasy done well, in my opinion. Here again, LOVE this book. Bought it for my dad for Christmas. Ha! He’s responsible for my love of fantasy, by the way. I reviewed it back in February on my old blog, in case you’re interested. I’ll eventually move my old posts to my new blog, maybe. 🙂

Kidnapped from his homeworld and sold into slavery, Maurin despairs of ever seeing his cousin or his home again. When he is ransomed by a mysterious woman and reunited with Aric, he joins and unlikely group committed to the downfall of the slave trade. But it isn’t long before he realizes they are being hunted–not only by the blood-lusting head of the slave trade, but by an ancient evil that wants their souls.

And of course, Dragon Thief. The second short story in the Tales of Nälu collection ~ Prequels to Secrets Kept – a NA Fantasy coming Fall 2013

The teaching of the Guardians has guided Semine’s footsteps since her infancy. When her mentor shows up with information contrary to what she’s been taught, she doubts her decision to follow in their footsteps. She must decide if there is life beyond what she has always known or embrace a new, mysterious path and reject the Guardians’ legacy.
