Juggling Worlds & Kiddos

Posted by on August 31, 2015

Greetings adventurers!

The time has come for juggling worlds, fiery irons, and kiddos. The days grow darker, shorter. And here I am in the deep end, barely keeping my head above the water.

In other words. FALL is here! Hello old, established routine. Oh, how I’ve missed you!

We survived the first week of school!

Wait, what? What about summer? No, summer kicked my butt. Don’t get me wrong. It was a great summer. Chaotic, but fun…at times. We beheld snakes, went swimming, and visited with family and friends. And then there was Realm Makers. That was amazing. But overall I am exhausted. As I bid this summer adieu, I’m barely catching my breath. Ha!

So here’s to the fall, routines, and solid schedules again! Not to mention cooler temps! Although, Texas has been mild this year.

I’ve got so many exciting things coming up in the next couple of months. A glimpse at the original beginning of Secrets Kept, a two-year birthday celebration, maybe a fun speculative blog hop. And I’m about to dig into the final read through before sending Darkened Hope to my editor. Eep! I can’t wait to share it with you all, but we’re still in August. So best not to get ahead of ourselves, shall we?

So how was YOUR summer?
