Link Feast

Posted by on December 8, 2014

Happy Monday!

Hope you’ve had a great weekend! It’s been crazy here. I’m sure my life is merely a reflection of the craziness we all are going through, so I’m trying to add more white spaces to my life and slow down a bit. We shall see how that goes!

But it’s time for a link feast!

In Books:

Donita K. Paul’s Two Renegade Realms will be here soon! I read and reviewed One Realm Beyond with the CSFF blog tour last year, so this one has been on my radar. Oh, my 2015 reading list is going to be huge! Anyway, the book two releases December 23rd and it’s available for pre-order.

D. Barkely Briggs has released his fifth book, The War of Swords, bringing his series Land of Karac Tor to a conclusion. You can find it on Amazon.

J. K. Rowling will be releasing short stories set in the Harry Potter world over at Pottermore starting December 12th. Eep! So tempting! Have you been over there?

Do you like the Princess Academy? Well, it’s been repackaged and there’s a giveaway over on Goodreads for books one, two, and three.

I came across this really cool post about a photographer recreating fairy tales with real people. The images are stunning. Check it out!

“Margarita Kareva is a Russia-based photographer who specializes in fantasy art photography. Her photographs beautifully portray women that have been transformed into fairytale princesses and witches…” Click to read more.

Have you heard of Vision Boards? Over at Writer Unboxed, they posted, Becoming a Better Writer in 2015. Great post and vision boards are for more than just writing related goals. I have been busy at work on my vision board. 🙂

Well, that’s all I’ve got time for for today. Anything cool you’d like to share? Post in the comments! Have a great rest of the week!

I’ve been avoiding Pottermore simply because I have a feeling if I ever browse it, I’ll get sucked in and never come out! 😉 But I keep meaning to explore. Maybe now is the time! And thanks for the heads-up about the giveaways. I love Shannon Hale and haven’t read that series yet.

Yea! Glad you found the link feast helpful. 🙂
I checked it out when it first launched. It is quite easy to get sucked in. You can read each chapter and there is a scene with each chapter you can explore. There’s things to collect and activities to do. Kind of like her old website, which I miss. But there is a chance to work together in the community to earn points for your house. It is awesome and completely time consuming. ha! Of which, I don’t have much these days. Thanks for stopping by!
