Link Feast

Well, the converging of the rivers is kicking my butt. Confused? Last Monday I blogged about the six letter swear word, Should, and I touched on how, with the coming of fall, everything starts back up: The first year of school for my oldest, mom’s group, Awana, and combine those commitments with my writing goals and a book coming out NEXT MONTH. We’ve got one frazzle lady here. Ha!

So, I’m coming out of my long, dark tunnel, I hope, and I see all these cool things happening around me that I nearly missed out on. And some I did. But what can we do, eh?

Nadine Brandes, the newest author at Marcher Lord Press, is launching a new website and celebrating the five year anniversary of Marcher Lord Press with a five book giveaway. Check out MLP’s line up  as we get to help choose the books we would like to win. Yea! I’ve got a bunch on my to-read list.

Sanctuary. A Christian Alien/Zombie novel. Say what? Yep, and it was so good. I got to read an advanced reader copy. Set to be released the end of this month, but it is currently available on Netgalley. Check it out! Yesterday, author Pauline Creeden shared why she wrote it. What do you think? Plausible? Or not?

What others are saying: “The three different story-lines merge into a full-fledged fantasy/horror novel that never sags or lets up on the action. While there are Christian themes present in Sanctuary, and Jennie’s faith is an important part of who she is, I, a non-Christian, did not feel I was being preached to or proselytized. I recommend Pauline Creeden’s Sanctuary — it’s well-written and a lot of fun to read. –Jack Magnus for Readers Favorite”

“Overall, the entire story was charged with the adrenaline and thrills of a suspense/thriller novel, but the mood was terrifyingly eerie like a Horror story.” –Katelyn Hensel for Readers’ Favorite

“This book was an intense page turner! Sanctuary has the perfect combination of action, horror, and humanity. I love sinking into a good book like this that is so well written you can see every little detail in your mind while you re reading it.” –Ginna Lamkie for Readers’ Favorite”

I think I need to give a copy away next month, or two, or three. 😉

Speaking of which, Bloggers! There are two blog hops coming up.

September’s Back to School YA Hop. The linky list is closing in two days!

And October’s Who’s Afraid of the Dark Hop. Sign up and join the fun!

Kat Heckenbach, author of YA fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, and horror, has a free short story on Kindle, Protection’s Prisons. Free until the 19th! You might discover a new favorite!

R. J. Larson, author of Prophet, Judge, and King, is giving away one of her books, your choice! RJL

C. L. Dyck. If you haven’t been by her blog, you must! Just love her writing, her thoughts, etc. Tuesday’s post was…well…awesome! Just have to read it to see for yourself. But here’s a glimpse:

“The hour of light comes. It happens once every morning, and once every evening. It’s the time when the world turns rose-gold and it’s impossible to take a bad photo, because for just a little while, everything in this world takes on the form Plato thought it never could.”

So many awesome things happening, I just can’t include them all. Got something awesome? Please share it in the links below!

Hope y’all are having a great week!

I love hearing from you!
