Link Feast

Posted by on September 30, 2013

Happy Monday y’all! I am skittish with excitement, or it might be the lack of sleep and a weekend of sick kiddos and hubby. And I would love to just blast y’all with news of things to come, but alas, I must be patient. Instead of my original post, a link feast! But those are awesome too, because there’s always awesome things happening.

So as I’m putting together the Grand Prize for the costume contest, soon-to-be revealed, I discovered that I couldn’t “buy” a Kindle copy of Patrick W. Carr‘s debut novel, Cast of Stones, because it’s FREE! LOVED this book. Check it out at Amazon. Don’t know how long it will be free.

Speaking of debut novels, mine is coming soon! I’m organizing a Release Day Blog Hop, so if you’re interested, email me at jlmbewe(at)gmail(dot)com, and I’ll get you the details!

And the third short story in the Tales of Nälu collection is here! Indestructible. Find it at Amazon! We did a cover reveal of the paperback compilation of all three stories last Friday, and that should be ready soon!

Pauline Creeden‘s novel Sanctuary just released, and it’s on sale for $.99 at Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Zombies, Aliens, and the Apocolypse? Oh yeah, and it is goooood. More about that later! Release Day Diva is throwing a book launch party on Facebook tonight 7PM-10PM EDT.

Today’s the last day for the The Back to School YA Blog Hop, so don’t forget to check out what all the bloggers are giving away. I’m giving away ecopies to The Silent Swan by Lex Keating, The Earth Painter by Melissa Tuner Lee, & Finding Angel by Kat Heckenbach.

Last week, Anne Elisabeth Stengl revealed the cover of her novella, Goddess Tithe, coming this November. If you’re a writer, she’s running a creative writing contest. Deadline is December 31st. Rewrite Cinderella your way. You can find more information at Rooglewood PressGoddessTithe (520x800)

As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been busily putting together a cool GRAND prize for the costume contest, and I’ve been looking at a sword…letter opener. 😉 But if you love swords, Robert Treskillard is giving away one! Help him celebrate the release of The Merlin’s Spiral Trilogy. I’m reading book one, Merlin’s Blade right now…oh my goodness! But I will save THAT for another day! You see that blade on the cover? Yep, that’s the one he is giving away, and he made it. How cool is that? Oh, and Merlin’s Blade is only $.99. Don’t know if that’s for a limited time or not. But check it out!

My motto: Living life balanced between reality and dreams. Here’s a great post by Marcy Kennedy talking…er…writing just about that. And using my favorite quote, from my favorite books! “It does not do to dwell on dreams, and forget to live.” Dumbledore. Marcy asks, “Have you found the balance between chasing your big dream and living your life? Swing by her blog and let her know!

Okay, I’ve run out of time! If there is something awesome you’d like to share, leave a link in the comments. Hope you all have a great week!

I love hearing from you!
