Link Feast

Posted by on May 24, 2013

At my old blog, I started sharing about giveaways, newsy things, cools things, and I came up with the Link Feast, where you can feast your eyes on all the cool links… Okay, maybe that was a little lame, okay, a lot lame, but there’s some cool stuff to be had. So without further ado:

Obvious first one.Maytherealwaysbebooks

We are in the middle of celebrating the new website and blog with the May There Always Be Books Giveaway Book Hop. So don’t forget to stop by and enter to win a $10 Amazon gift card, a Kindle copy of Armored Hearts by Melissa Turner Lee & Pauline Creeden, and a Kindle copy of Starflower by Anne Elisabeth Stengl, and a Kindle copy of my short story, Desert Rose. So click over, say hi, and enter to win! And for those who are getting the word out, tweeting, sharing on Facebook, participating in the Blog Hop–Thank you! (By the way, there’s a whole list of other bloggers with their own giveaways going on as well, so check them out!)

Since we are on the topics of blog hops, there’s one coming up in June. Candlelight Reads presents the Tortured Hero Blog Hop

  • June 14-17
  • Theme: Tortured Heroes
  • Topic to blog about: Think about Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. What makes our hearts break when we come across a tortured hero? Who is your favorite tortured hero and why? What makes him so…heroic?

So, will you join the fun? I am. 🙂

The Fairest Beauty

Have you heard of Melanie Dickerson? The Fairest Beauty? She has a mess load of books out, but this one has caught me eye.

A daring rescue. A difficult choice.

Sophie desperately wants to get away from her stepmother’s jealousy, and believes escape is her only chance to be happy. Then a young man named Gabe arrives from Hagenheim Castle, claiming she is betrothed to his older brother, and everything twists upside down. This could be Sophie’s one chance at freedom—but can she trust another person to keep her safe?

Gabe defied his parents Rose and Wilhelm by going to find Sophie, and now he believes they had a right to worry: the girl’s inner and outer beauty has enchanted him. Though romance is impossible—she is his brother’s future wife, and Gabe himself is betrothed to someone else—he promises himself he will see the mission through, no matter what.

When the pair flee to the Cottage of the Seven, they find help—but also find their feelings for each other have grown. Now both must not only protect each other from the dangers around them—they must also protect their hearts.”

Isn’t the cover beautiful? The Literary Maidens reviewed it and are giving away a paperback copy. Seven days left to enter! To jump on over there and check it out!

Next Monday, Lynn Donovan’s novel, The Wishing Well Curse, begins a book tour filled with interviews, giveaways, and more. Sounds like fun!

Finding Angel by Kat Heckenbach

Kat Heckenback is giving away a copy of Finding Angel on Goodreads. YA Fantasy. Magic, mystery, singing beetles, rocker Elves…need I say more? “Angel doesn’t remember her magical heritage…but it remembers her.”  Magic and science collide when she embarks on a journey to her true home, and to herself. Find out more on Goodreads. 🙂

Hope you all have a great weekend! Any special plans? If you have any links of cool giveaways, newsy things, please share in the comments!
