Music Moment

Love this.

My new theme song.

I just discovered this song, and I’ve been listening to it over and over. While I was editing Indestructible, it hit me. This song is Elothryn! It gave me chills. This happened once before when Desert Rose was released earlier this year, and I discovered Sting’s Desert Rose. Oh my goodness!!! Dragon Thief is feeling a little left out though, nothing has struck me yet. I must remedy this! If you’ve read Dragon Thief, is there a song that just connects with you and the story?

All three short stories are out now and will soon be compiled in paperback form! If you haven’t read them yet, head on over to The Writer’s Window and check out Hannah’s review of all three stories. Thanks Hannah!

So, do you have a theme song? Please share!

I love that song! It definitely applies to me on an almost daily basis. But, I’d have to say that my theme song is Noise by Colton Dixon or Beautiful by MercyMe. Noise is quite similar to worn, so when I’m stressed it my go-to song. Beautiful is something between me and God that is a reminder to me. 🙂

Hi Emerald! Thanks for stopping by! I will have to look up those songs. I have several different theme songs, but then there’s times some just ring truer, or hit the season I’m in right on the head. 😉 After books, I love, love, LOVE music. Thanks for sharing!

Oh my goodness, that song portrays Elothryn’s struggle and fatigue so well. Sniffle, sniffle, the words nearly made me get teary-eyed. But still so much hope to the chorus. Gives me a glimpse of an ending unseen beyond Indestructible. 🙂

I have to say, the song also goes rather well with one of my characters from Moonscript. 🙂 I’d never heard Worn, and I love it!

Yes, yes! It is so him. Thanks Hannah! And I can’t wait until we see more of Moonscript. 😉

I love hearing from you!
