Name that Character

Posted by on May 30, 2014

Happy Friday y’all!

Wow, the time is flying! And it’s probably time for a little update.

Darkened Hope is off to the editor for its first round of edits and I’m busily trying to catch up on my reading and writing and other creative endeavors. I’m trying to be super productive now, because when it gets back here, torn up and dripping blood, I will be diving in, singularly focused on that one.

So in the meantime…

I wanted to have a little fun and do something different. I’ve got another Tale of Nälu brewing, and I want your help!

One of the best things about creating make believe worlds where characters go off on adventures and battle obstacles and enemies and quite possibly fall in love, is naming said characters or places or things. So with this upcoming story, I thought I’d share that excitement with you.

This story is about a dwarf maiden. Hailing from the hidden city of Ta’vazi, she is the youngest of six kids, born to the King and Queen, and she is a bit of an adventurer.

What might this tale be about? I’ll give you a hint. Her story was briefly referenced in one of the Tales of Nälu. 😉

You can comment below or on my Facebook page. Thanks for joining in on the fun!

Have a great weekend!

    My daughter, Renae, suggests:
    Damita- means little princess,
    Armida- little armed one
    Darra- small great one
    Fiametta- little fiery one
    Piera- little rock
    Rubetta- little precious jewel
    Adeen- little fire (or Adeena)

“little” because she’s the youngest and a dwarf.

Awesome Sara and Renae, thanks! I actually have a Piero in one of my other stories. I really like Adeena. Thanks for sharing!

I love hearing from you!
