New Year, New Plan

Posted by on January 5, 2015

Happy New Year!

New year, new beginning, new plan. Don’t you just love new beginnings? New notebooks, new adventures, new pens, pencils, etc. There are some exciting things in the works and I can’t wait to share them with you all.

Last year was quite the learning experience for me, so I’m looking forward to repeating them building on them in 2015. One can always hope, right?

And I’m a little excited about my 2015 Vision Board. new year new plan (480x640)

Several months ago, I came across this article about creating a vision board to become a better writer, but it is not limited to just writing. So, November and December I spent a lot of time in thought and prayer and brainstorming for my vision board. How I wanted to improve as a writer, mother, wife, and artist, and goals for my books this year. Such as getting book two ready for you all!

You might recognize a few of the items on the board. Such as the clock at the top and coffee cup with shalom written on it. Awesome swag from Nadine Brandes‘ A Time to Die blog tour. I’ve put it there to remind me to keep things in perspective.

The pewter Celtic cross handmade by Robert Treskillard himself, author of the Merlin’s Spiral series. How cool is that? Had to put that there. And just some things to encourage me through the year.

I am ready as I can be for 2015. Let’s get this journey started!

So have you ever created a Vision Board? Would you? What would you put on it for 2015?

Have a great week!

Sounds like a great idea! Are you going to be as busy as you were last year? It seemed kind of taxing.

Thanks Kessie! I still have remnants of last year spilling into this spring, but I am working toward cutting back my commitments. So yeah, still taxing, but trying to do better. Thus the “boundaries” on my board. ha! Thanks for stopping by!

It looks perfect! I’m going to be spending some time with my own board today. 🙂

I love hearing from you!
