Quote: You Are Not Alone.

Posted by on September 4, 2015

This is why I write.

One of the reasons anyways.

You are not alone

When I was in fourth grade, my teacher read to us Matilda and the love for reading became my own. I love what books can do for a person.

What book has stuck with you?

Have a great weekend!

The Narnia books were the first chapter books I read. (My parents bribed me in 3rd grade with the promise of an Aslan tshirt when I finished the series.) I ended rereading them at least once a year until I entered college. I’ve always loved Edmund and Eustace for the men they became and how they overcame their poor choices of the past.

I also liked What Katy Did – that series inspired me to try to be a better sister to my siblings.

That is awesome. I LOVE stories that inspire us to become better humans. 🙂

My first experience with Narnia: My elementary teacher played it for us in class. Don’t remember much about it or how old though!

Great quote, JL. I’ve yet to read Matilda, but I enjoyed the movie.

The Hobbit was the book the really captured my imagination and made me fall in love with the written word. It’s a book that just gets better the more times I read it, the sign of a truly great work.

Thanks DJ! I did enjoy The Hobbit later on in life, especially, listening to it over audiobook. Some books don’t work well for audiobook, but that one did! Thanks for stopping by!

I love hearing from you!
