Snapshots & Updates

Happy Monday!

My precioussssesss

Things are a-happening around here, so I thought it proper for a bit of an update. And I’ve been missing you all.

Writerly news…

First and foremost. I just got my manuscript back from the editor and critique pals. I am ready to tackle it! I am giving myself two months. Gulp! Does anyone have Hermione’s Time Turner I could borrow?

After a year of hitting a wall with the next short story, I am making progress!! Slowly but surely. I think that is the season I am in, especially since my daughter no longer naps during the day.

Tales of Nälu, Volume One is getting an update. I just ordered the proof! I will let you all know when it is available again.

In other news…

I’ve joined Instagram! If you have an account, look me up!

I have finally finished mourning the ninth doctor and have delved into season two. Is it just me, or is the doctor a bit of a womanizer? Two weeks ago BBC America celebrated a decade of doctors. Boy, do I have a lot of catching up to do.

So while I’ve been editing, writing, reading away, my crazy self signed me up for my first 5K. What?! Go Team Adipose! Why yes, that is a Doctor Who reference. May 2nd here I come! I am doing my best to prepare for this event so I can at least keep up with my team. I do not have high hopes. Ha! Did I mention that I am not a runner?

I am thinking 2015 might be a year of firsts for me….maybe…considering my word for this year is FEARLESS. Ha! We shall see!

Hope you all have a great week!

I love seeing pictures of your munchkins! I wish you’d post pics more often. And what a great word for the year!

I’m glad you’re going a 5K. One of the negatives of the writing life style is that it does not exactly encourage physical fitness. I struggle to get in much physical activity most weeks so I’m glad you’re taking the plunge and gearing up for a race like this. Hope you have fun doing it.

Thanks DJ! I hear ya! It is such a struggle, and for me, it’s a mind thing too. I grew up on a farm, so I had all the physical activity I needed. I’d rather muck out a stall than go to the gym. But that lifestyle is not the one I have today. I think I’m finally coming to terms with that. ha! I am looking forward to the 5K. It’s been nice to get out of my routine (gasp!) and hang out with others. Thanks for stopping by!

I love hearing from you!
