I love painting. With acrylic. Watercolor. But I’ve struggled trying to transfer that to digital painting. After attending a presentation by Kazu Kibuishi for his Amulet graphic novels, I had an aha moment. Technically he and his wife were there for my elementary school and I was there to supervise my buddy. But when he demonstrated how he painted in Photoshop, I was like, wow! I need to try that. So here is my first attempt, and I’m loving it! Can’t wait to do more!

Oh wow, that’s really good! I glanced at that artwork and thought it was some stock art you’d grabbed from somewhere, like, it looks that professional. Digital art does have a bit of a learning curve, but you can eventually make it do everything paint does! I encourage you to keep at it!
